It turns out, you can’t be too rich to start a side hustle, with a growing number of celebrities turning to OnlyFans to make a bit of extra cash. One of the most famous faces (or should that be famous feet) to join the platform in recent times is singer Lily Allen.

Allen announced she was joining the platform in June 2024 after finding out she had 5-star rated feet on celebrity foot-ranking site WikiFeet. She’s now selling foot pics for $10 a month — quite the bargain, we say!

For background, OnlyFans is a subscription-based content sharing service. While you can technically share any kind of content, OnlyFans is famous for being a platform where people can share nude pics and pornography. What people on OnlyFans decide to share with their subscribers is totally up to them, though.

Here, we take a look at some celebs that have joined the OnlyFans content creator bandwagon – and what they’ve shared about it.

Lily Allen

In June 2024, Lily Allen announced she was “dipping her toes” into the OnlyFans scene. The singer, 39, told the Miss Me? podcast that she’d thought about starting an OnlyFans because her pedicurist said Allen had a 5-star rating on WikiFeet — a user-generated site where people post and rate pictures of celebrity feet.

“[My pedicurist said I] could make a lot of money selling foot content on OnlyFans, and I’m like, ‘Not no’,” Allen said.

Within a few days of joining the platform, Allen proved both her credentials and her wit, posting a handful of feet pics with punny captions like “La Dolce Feeta”. Operating under the username @lilyallenftse500, Allen posts feet pics for $10 USD a month.

If you followed the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, you might have seen the viral video of Canadian pole vaulter Alysha Newman twerking after her bronze-medal winning performance. In fact, after that moment the athlete’s OnlyFans page crashed as hundreds of thousands of people tried to access it.

Newman has spoken about her use of the platform and how it’s allowed her to manage her expenses as an elite athlete, telling the UK Daily Telegraph: “The knowledge that I’ve been able to accumulate because of my financial gains with OnlyFans and my other sponsors, has only helped me get this bronze medal more than ever.”

The Sopranos actress Drea De Matteo created an OnlyFans account in 2024 to supplement her income after her acting career took a dive. Unlike a lot of celebrity OnlyFans accounts, de Matteo is willing to share some racy content via her subscriber-only account, @dreadematteo.

Drea has reportedly found success on the platform, claiming she was able to pay off her mortgage “in five minutes”.

“I kept putting more pictures up. I was like, holy s–t. In five minutes, I was able to pay back Compass Real Estate who kept the sale of my house,” she told the New York Post.

“I did it, but I didn’t want to do it,” she continued. “I got a lot of heat for doing it and it went f–king viral and people went nuts.”

Drea de Matteo charges USD $15 a month for access to her OnlyFans, which has over 250 posts and 163k likes.

We will be talking about personal stuff… straight-up real-life content.”

Since then, it seems Cardi has left the platform but research platform Statista reported the singer made nearly US $10 million a month in 2021 via OnlyFans.

Thorne no longer uses OnlyFans.

I don’t do that, but I also have no judgement toward the people who do do that,” Sami said on her TikTok. “If people did their f–king research, they’d know that there’s multiple forms of s-work,” she added. “I don’t know why people are so judgmental towards it…I love my job so much.”
