Lost luggage is apparently an all-too common occurrence in air travel of late. Now, airlines want you to avoid buying common-coloured suitcases to avoid added confusion at baggage claim. Budget airline Ryan Air has revealed the most common suitcase colours are black, silver and navy, and have gently nudged people to avoid these to ensure they don’t get accidentally taken from the luggage carousel. (And if you already have a suitcase in these hues, try adding a ribbon or colourful luggage tag, they suggest.)
Whether you’re planning a grand Euro summer or a more humble staycation, you’ll want some chic and effective luggage to help you carry your entire wardrobe carefully curated packing list. Fortunately, there are a number of high quality luggage brands in the market, boasting a range of colourful and sleek suitcases to appeal to every type of traveller. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to sort some savvy marketing from a suitcase that’s not’s going to break the minute you hit a cobblestone street. (But seriously, don’t drag your wheelie suitcase down a cobblestone street. Trust me.)
Whether you’re after a new carry-on, a massive rolling suitcase, or an easily portable backpack for your next adventure, we’ve rounded-up the best suitcases for your next holiday.
